Based on a farm in the Lake District National Park, Millican was established in 12 years ago by Jorrit and Nicky, and is named after the self confessed ‘Professor of Adventure’ Millican Dalton – a local Lake District legend who lived out most of his life in a cave in Borrowdale Valley in the early 1900s. He was a maverick of his time. Our bags are inspired by our natural surroundings and outside living, using recycled and organic materials, lead by a simple philosophy ‘Use Less, Be More’. Our products are designed to take you anywhere, while striving towards having the least impact possible on the planet – treading lightly as we go. When the world moves fast, we strive to be slow.
